大意是不是这个样的：
2011年，comap在mcm/icm之外，增加“媒体比赛”。comap注意到很多选手用各种媒体记录自己4天比赛的美好时光，所以comap想得到并且分享它们。

需要注意以下几点：
1、这个比赛时完全独立于mcm/icm的，其成绩不会影响到美赛成绩，但comap不想因此让参加mcm的同学分心。
2、虽然比赛的性质没有完全确定，但好的作品是会受到奖励的。。。。("While we have yet to determine the exact nature of the award categories for this material, rest assured that outstanding entries will be appropriately acknowledged and recognized.")
3、比赛可以邀请其他人员协助完成，包括家人、朋友、老师。
4、mcm/icm注册完成的同学，可以不用另外注册直接参加("if you are registered to take part in the MCM/ICM contest you are able to compete in the multimedia portion of the contest")。
5、可以只参加mcm/icm，不理会“媒体比赛”("NO the multimedia portion of the contest is purely optional")
