标题: 那个美赛的获奖概率是不是很大呢？
COMAP is pleased to announce the results of the 14th annual Interdisciplinary Contest in Modeling (ICM). This year, a record 1329 teams representing institutions from six countries participated in the contest.  Seven teams were designated as OUTSTANDING WINNERS representing the following schools:
· Cornell University, Ithaca, NY  (INFORMS winner)
· Mathematical Modeling Innovative Practice Base, China

· Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, Nanjing, China

· Northwestern Polytechnical University, Shaanxi, China

· Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai, China

· University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China

2012 ICM Statistics

· 1329 Teams participated

· 44 US Teams (3%)

· 1286 Foreign Teams (97%) from  Indonesia, China, Hong Kong, Palestine and United Kingdom

· 7 Outstanding Winners (<1%)

· 4 Finalist Winners (<1%)

· 125 Meritorious Winners (9%)

· 640 Honorable Mentions (48%)

· 553 Successful Participants (42%)
