To participate in MCM a team must be sponsored by a faculty advisor from their institution. The registration process must be completed by the advisor. IMPORTANT CHANGE TO CONTEST RULES FOR MCM/ICM 2009: Teams (Student or Advisor) are now required to submit an electronic copy of their solution paper by email to solutions@comap.com. Your email MUST be received at COMAP by the submission deadline of 8:00 PM EST, February 9, 2009. Teams that fail to submit a solution via email by 8PM Eastern Time on the 9th of February will constitute a violation of the contest rules and will result in disqualification. No further modifications, enhancements, additions, or improvements may be made to the team's solution paper after this submission. Each team's electronic submission will be cross-checked for consistency with their paper submission. Any changes to the paper version will constitute a violation of the contest rules and may result in disqualification. The current rules for submitting the (3) paper copy and CD are still in effect. In the subject line of your email write: COMAP and your teams control number. Example of title line. Subject: COMAP 2222 Use your teams control number as the name of your file attachments. COMAP will only accept an Adobe PDF or Microsoft Word file of your solution. DO NOT include programs or software with your email as they will not be used in the judging process. Limit your email to one solution per email.
