There are three good reasons to learn a computational mathematics tool. The first is, k) s6 W! C# l. T! I
that it serves as a background check for work you might be doing by hand. If you are

that you don’t become co-dependent on a computational tool or trust it as though it

MATLAB or any other tool to check your work to make sure it’s correct.8 _# a% g! R0 T1 \" }
The second reason is having a tool like MATLAB is priceless for generating
: `0 G& K4 r: Q% @plots and for doing numerical methods. Instead of having to go through a tedious: m$ o. ?7 m3 D/ b- J
process of plotting something by hand you can just have MATLAB generate any$ k) B0 J4 b" J  f7 ]. I9 J' l
