    OverviewThe CEMC develops and administers many internationally recognized contests to help to inspire the next generation of students to develop an interest in and love for mathematics and computer science. Interested students should ask their math teachers about these contests.

    • Download a PDF flyer listing contest dates for schools in North and South Americaand schools outside North and South America.
    • A contest may never be written prior to the official contest date. We will do our best to arrange alternate dates for serious school-wide conflicts. Please contact us if you wish to arrange this.
    • Students working ahead a grade may choose to write the contest for the more advanced grade. However, a student may write at most one of the Pascal, Cayley and Fermat Contests, and at most one of the Fryer, Galois and Hypatia Contests, and at most one of the Canadian Intermediate Math Contest and Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest.
    • Students planning to attend an Ontario university often write the Euclid contest.
