Mathematical Content
Early questions require only concepts found in the curriculum common to all provinces. The last few questions are designed to test ingenuity and insight. Rather than testing content, most of the contest problems test logical thinking and mathematical problem solving.
Registration Information
Schools register online. The deadline is February 7, 2013.
View fees.
Registrations are also accepted by fax or
e-mail.
Schools that have not registered for previous contests are encouraged to participate.
Contest Preparation
We recommend that students spend some time preparing for our contests by trying to solve problems. Many teachers make this a regular classroom activity, and use past contest problems as part of their regularly assigned work.
Results
Results booklets
(Pascal, Cayley, Fermat) and
averages and cutoffs are online.
Teachers can access their students' results.
Recognition
We recognize top-performing students and schools.
