c. Understand every possible thing that can influence problems
3. Make problem manageable (make assumptions)
4. Criteria / constraints
5. Possible models / approaches (brainstorming)
6. Debate / selecting a model

INTERMISSION

7. Reorganize:
a. Satisfies constraints
b. Feasible?
c. Everything is justified
d. Simplest possible?
e. Clear plan of action on proceeding
8. Model architecture
9. Build base case model (prototype)
a. Picking likely parameters
b. Most likely build simulation
c. Run simulation on data to get results
10. Sensitivity testing of prototype & optimize parameters
11. Formal write-up of prototype
12. Evaluate prototype
a. Mistakes made, faulty assumptions, missed assumptions
b. Expansion of model
c. Revise (?) if necessary
13. Iterate
