For our subsidiary company , we wish to recruit a Category manager to work in SOURCING TECH & INVEST – China team. The position will perform global market analysis, trends and forecast, develop and maintain supplier database, pre-sourcing of suppliers in emerging markets and support investment projects with knowhow and analysis.
• Strategic Sourcing
• Drive initiatives and projects for sourcing production equipment and spare parts in emerging markets
• Pre-select suppliers in emerging markets for local and overseas demand
• Ensure compliance to company Responsible Purchasing and contracts
• Initiate and drive global market analysis
•Support Category Managers with market information
• Perform ad hoc supplier analysis
• Stakeholder Involvement
• Establish and Maintain strong partnerships with internal stakeholders
•Develop good relationship with external stakeholders, such as suppliers and authorities
• Provide professional value adding competencies   

You will report to Engineering Sourcing Manager.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree, preferable in mechanics or electrics
• Min. 3-4 years project or investment sourcing experience in international companies
• Strong negotiation skills
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent analytical competencies
• Highly developed communication skills orally and written
• Fluently in oral and written English
• Self driven and motivating
• Excellent IT user skills (Microsoft office package)
•Can document significant results from previous positions
• Strong ethics
