plots and for doing numerical methods. Instead of having to go through a tedious! }1 Y. z; n. K2 F, u* U) r
process of plotting something by hand you can just have MATLAB generate any

Thirdly, the bottom line is that at some point in your career you will have to use! Q/ {3 ?: y& R1 |
a computational mathematics tool. If you’re a professor doing theoretical work, at' u- @6 ~& j G" W; b
one point or another you are going to be working on a project where analytical0 @! k& J5 K6 d- ^+ r+ M
solutions are not possible. If you work in industry or in a national lab, chances are& x5 Q2 f1 R, V+ W; r p8 U

MATLAB is widely used in universities, in national laboratories and at private
