Data Mining/Algorithm Engineer  

* Strong algorithms and data structures knowledge  
* Minimum 3 years hands-on skills in Java  
* Experience with complex regular expressions  
* Depth of knowledge in applied and research data mining, machine learning, and/or text mining  
* Familiarity with databases, especially MySQL databases  
* Comfort with Unix and the command line  
* Desired experience in the following areas (especially for large data sets):  
machine learning, predictive modeling, data clustering, data classification, association rules, text analysis (text mining, information extraction, event extraction), natural language processing (NLP)  
* Master or preferable Ph.D degree in Computer Science or related fields
