GAMS (General Algebraic Modeling System) 是一个用于数学规划问题的高级建模系统。它包括一个语言编译器和一套集成的高性能求解器。GAMS 是为复杂的、大型的建模应用度身订造的。它允许你创建能快速适应新情况的大型可维护模型。
! E  W! M& C2 Z通过让系统处理常规编程语言的耗时和出错细节问题，GAMS 允许用户专注于建模。用户可以专注于代数、快速改变模型公式、用一个求解器代替另一个，甚至稍微麻烦些就可以从线性转换为非线性。GAMS 增加了思考和运行模型、分析结果的可用时间。GAMS 还通过要求实体和关系的简洁和准确的规格，促使良好的建模习惯。GAMS 语言形式上和常用的编程语言相类似。因此它对任何有编程经验的人来说，都是似曾相识的。



( a- e! L6 o* d( P& s+ kGAMS 是灵活而又强大的。模型可以在平台间任意传输。用户能够容易的设计一个模型来对一个元素的不同值进行求解，然后生成一个列明每个案例的解答规格参数的输出报表。用户还可以在开发模型的同时创建相关文档，因为 GAMS 允许用户将说明文字包含在任何符号或公式的定义中。

) E! V- ?3 ?. c0 nGAMS 可处理许多不同问题类型的模型公式，包括线性规划(LP)、混合整数线性规划(MIP)、非线性规划(NLP)、混合整数非线性规划(MINLP)、混合互补规划(MCP)、均衡约束数学规划(MPEC)和随机规划。GAMS 还能够处理约束非线性系统(CNS)。

自从 1987 以来，GAMS 在工业和教学研究方面，都被成功的使用，并且在超过 100 个国家中拥有超过 10000 个客户。

系统特性
GAMS 提供一个支持各种不同数学规划模型以及相关求解器的统一框架结构。模型被独立阐述为接近的解答、使用的特定求解器，和特定模型实例的数据。
