GAMS (General Algebraic Modeling System) 是一个用于数学规划问题的高级建模系统。它包括一个语言编译器和一套集成的高性能求解器。GAMS 是为复杂的、大型的建模应用度身订造的。它允许你创建能快速适应新情况的大型可维护模型。
通过让系统处理常规编程语言的耗时和出错细节问题，GAMS 允许用户专注于建模。用户可以专注于代数、快速改变模型公式、用一个求解器代替另一个，甚至稍微麻烦些就可以从线性转换为非线性。GAMS 增加了思考和运行模型、分析结果的可用时间。GAMS 还通过要求实体和关系的简洁和准确的规格，促使良好的建模习惯。GAMS 语言形式上和常用的编程语言相类似。因此它对任何有编程经验的人来说，都是似曾相识的。

* G! ?( I: J  [( YGAMS 是灵活而又强大的。模型可以在平台间任意传输。用户能够容易的设计一个模型来对一个元素的不同值进行求解，然后生成一个列明每个案例的解答规格参数的输出报表。用户还可以在开发模型的同时创建相关文档，因为 GAMS 允许用户将说明文字包含在任何符号或公式的定义中。

GAMS 可处理许多不同问题类型的模型公式，包括线性规划(LP)、混合整数线性规划(MIP)、非线性规划(NLP)、混合整数非线性规划(MINLP)、混合互补规划(MCP)、均衡约束数学规划(MPEC)和随机规划。GAMS 还能够处理约束非线性系统(CNS)。

自从 1987 以来，GAMS 在工业和教学研究方面，都被成功的使用，并且在超过 100 个国家中拥有超过 10000 个客户。

GAMS 结合了用于广泛问题类型的所有主要商业和学术的最新解决技术。此外 GAMS 还结合了 MPSGE 建模环境，特别是用于可计算的一般均衡模型（Computable General Equilibrium, CGE 模型）。

多平台
